H4 lamp geometry Inspection
H4 is dual filament halogen bulb used in vehicle Head lamp. Modern headlamps are electrically operated, positioned in pairs, one or two on each side of the front of a vehicle. A headlamp system is required to produce a low and a high beam, which may be achieved either by an individual lamp for each function or by a single multifunction lamp. To achieve Proper Low and High beam light profile H4 lamp filament dimension, Position and orientation need to be inside limit. Begapt Machine vision based H4 geometry inspection system inspect different dimension of the lamp during production.
This System reads reads diffrenet dimension of the h4 lamps during assmbly of the h4 lamps

During production H4 lamp is assembled on index table and after assembly moves on the conveyor belt system. Camera along with the back light are mounted either on the index table or conveyor belt. When H4 lamp comes in front of camera, Component sensor senses the h4 lamp presence and triggers the camera along with light. Now Grabbed image from the camera is sent to the PC running with Begapt measurement software to measure different dimension of the H4 lamp. Measured parameters are compared to the predefined limits saved for the lamp if dimensions are within the limit Ok signal is generated else NG signal for rejection. Measured dimensions of the lamps are saved into the data base for further analysis of the production.
